More dramatic coolness by AK Photography! I was mostly just tired of having my boobs be the first picture on my page, so here’s another She-Ra shot. :D This is the full-body version of the 3/4 dramatically lit version I posted before, I love how my boots look in this one…
Fun fact: I was determined to be animation-accurate- I had to make that cape attach directly to the choker rather than having it attach to my straps or go over my shoulders, so I made an under-structure to keep it from hanging down the middle of my back. A piece of spiral boning and a strip of Worbla in a fabric casing, attached with snaps, helps the cape keep its shape. The fabric of the cape and the structure piece are both quite lightweight, so they don’t pull on my throat. :)
Guess who’s procrastinating on her latest costume? I hate patterning. Will post some progress shots this week if I can make it look like something.

I’ve got another tutorial for y’all today! One of the most frequent questions I’m asked is how I do bodypaint that lasts for the duration of a convention, and that doesn’t get all over your costume or on every person you touch.

Here you go! Enjoy! Go be colorful!

I welcome you to ask any further questions you might have, but if you ask a question that’s already covered in the tutorial, I’m just going to give you the link again.
